Working Pupils
Come and join the team! Gain practical knowledge about all aspects of horses. Own horse is welcome and regular lessons with Ross will be provided. Working pupils get to travel all around the country seeing the backstage of the eventing world gaining experience along the way. Duties will include a high standard of horse care from yard duties to presenting a horse for competition and exercising horses, including Ross' top eventers.
Owner
Why not try the experience of being an owner, of anything from a young horse to an experienced Advanced Event horse. Partake in the excitement of following and watching your horse become a winner. To discuss the different levels of ownership and involvement contact Ross for an informal initial discussion. Or if you already own a horse and interested in getting Ross to ride it, he will be happy to discuss any details.
Syndicates
The aim of a syndicate is to allow people the enjoyment of owning and being involved with a top class horse without the expense! As such, the syndicate will not focus upon profit or the sale of these valuable horse unless the circumstances warrant. In each syndicate, Ross is offering a percentage of ownership. He will look for members to lease annual shares in a horse to contribute to the running costs of the horse, which will be split between the syndicate members. In return Ross is offering part-ownership of very talented and valuable horses, hospitality at competitions in the UK and Europe and close involvement with a dedicated professional team, as we strive to compete at the very highest levels of the sport.
Basic Syndicate Agreement
I want to keep the rules of the syndicate simple. There will be a written agreement between the owners and Ross to summarise the basic elements:
1. The syndicate is created to combine a group of like-minded people who have a love of three day eventing.
2. Ross Middleton will be the rider. The focus is on enabling the partnership of horse and rider to compete at the very highest levels of world class sport. Ross will be responsible for the training and competition schedule of the horse.
3. This is a non-profit focused syndicate, motivated to develop the horse to progress to the highest level of competition. The horse may only be sold if Ross believes it is warranted.
4. Prize money will be divided equally amongst the syndicate members.
Ryals Ballinzar one of Ross' up and coming young horses is available for syndication. Ryals Ballinzar started her eventing career last year and earned 5 points along the way. Her plan for this season is to gain more experience at novice level before moving to International CCI One Star level. She is very friendly and loves attention. Owners will be welcome at the yard at any time where you can see her being trained or even just to give her treats, (she will be your best friend for life if you do!), as well as seeing her compete. There will be five shares available costing £700 per annum. This includes all the maintenance costs, membership fees and competitions. There are no hidden costs. For more information please don't hesitate to, Contact Ross.
